About the Role
We are excited to announce a new role with our Operations team, Data and Reporting Analyst. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will play a key role in our data reporting transformation journey. You will be instrumental in enhancing efficiency and optimizing our data usage to provide valuable insights to our business and guiding strategic business decisions.
As a Data and Reporting Analyst, you will
- Design, develop, and optimize interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations on Tableau to present key findings effectively.
- Using Snowflake for data warehousing, retrieval, and ETL processes to support seamless data integration and transformation.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide analytical support that enhances decision-making.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
- Support team development by providing training on data analysis tools and best practices
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in data analysis, visualization, and business intelligence.
About You
You will be an experienced Data Analyst, ideally with a background in financial services or at least a basic understanding of the industry and the type of data we manage.
More importantly, in addition to your data management analytical skills, we are looking for someone with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You will collaborate across the business with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior leaders. Effective communication is crucial to understand their varied requirements and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Attributes that may help you succeed in the role:
- A tertiary qualification in Data Science, Statistics, IT or a related discipline desirable.
- Around 4+ years in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL (Knowledge in other programming languages like Python, R and etc desirable).
- Tableau expertise preferrable, with proven experience in designing and maintaining dashboards, leveraging advanced visualization techniques.
- Experience in Snowflake or other cloud data platforms (good understanding of data warehousing, retrieval, and ETL processes)
- Solid understanding of data management practices, including data quality, metadata and data lifecycle.
